“Things are not always what they seem” is one of my favorite phrases.

As a physician, I have come to understand that the physical body of a patient is only a small part of the multiple layers that exist in the human experience. We are spiritual beings living a physical existence, and healing manifests at multiple levels, including spiritual, mental (emotional) and physical planes.

Everything that is naturally created including the earth, man, and animals are manifestations of the Divine. As Divine manifestations, we are intimately connected to a Higher Power (Spirit), and to reach our highest potential, we must tap into that spiritual connection to uncover the Divine in all of us.

Shooting photography in digital infrared uncovers a divine beauty in nature not seen by the naked eye. It allows for a “different perspective,” something which we should all be open to to allow continued growth and positive change in our lives.

I believe art is therapeutic and opens a channel within us, which can help set the stage for healing to occur. I set the intention with my photography that all who see it will feel love and inner peace, and that whatever healing you need begins to take place in your lives.
